Just a quick update on some of my plants that have been showing positive growth (like finally after so long!)
Aloe Vera recovery and PUPS!!! From Feb 2020 to May 2020
- Taken in Feb 2020. Tips and half leaves were drying out and turning brown, moved the aloe to a shadier spot and out of direct sunlight. Water once every 2-3 weeks.
- April 2020. Recovered with new growth and lighter coloured leaves. Leaves were also plumper. No more brown tips, only 1 brown leaf which I didn’t cut off in Feb.
- Looking closer I realized a teeny tiny pup was peeking out!
- As of May, there are two pups growing well. yay.
Lucky Bamboo growth from December 2019 to April 2020
Growth is much slower now, but leaves are nice and dark green. Was planning to propagate if it grew taller but I’m happy with how it looks anyway. 🙂
Moved all my pothos planted in water into a new pot!
Bought a new pot from an online shop and I LOVE it. Looks amazing, is really lightweight, and was only RM25! I combined all my pothos that were planted in water into this new pot (still water) and added stones inside to stabilize it.
Last but not least, Mr. Rubber Tree is finally growing!
My mom got this rubber tree for me in Jan 2020. I’ve been really careful not to over water it and I noticed the leaves droop when it’s thirsty. After 4 months some small leaves finally appeared but one of it was oddly shaped. As of May there’s finally another nice new leaf growing!
And as a side note (because who is keeping count anyway pfft) one pot of my snake plants died. RIP.
