[Mini Review] Viral Moremo Water Treatment Miracle 10

Yes, TikTok made me try it.

After seeing a few girls on TikTok showing off their silky locks after using the Moremo Water Treatment Miracle 10, I bought a bottle from Guardian (while on sale) to give it a try.

Magic in 10 seconds. A liquid type hair treatment that gives softness and moisture to damaged hair from the moment it is applied.

The claim seemed a bit exaggerated but it did remind me of those 1 minute hair treatment products from many years ago. Anyway, since there was a sale at Guardian I bought it for RM58.10 after discount (original price: RM83) for a 200ml bottle.

It contains 3 types of vegetable derived keratin, 17 types of amino acids and includes these extracts:

  • Opuntia Ficus-Indica Extract (Prickly Pear)
  • Hippophae Rhamnoides Extract (Sea-buckthorn)
  • Corchorus Olitorius Leaf Extract (Jute leaves)
  • Spirulina Platensis Extract (Spirulina)
  • Porphyra Umbilicalis Extract (Nori/Seaweed)

I had to Google what each of those extracts were. According to what’s written on the bottle, the active ingredients that react instantly on damaged hair are called “SRC-21”, Super Repair Complex-21: Hydrolyzed Corn Protein, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, 17 amino acids, and Hippophae Rhamnoides extract.

There wasn’t much instruction on how to use it, I had to look up online to see because different sources said different things. The official instruction from the bottle says to apply directly to damaged hair after shampooing, massage softly, wait 10seconds and rinse thoroughly. Since the product is a water type lotion, it’s easy to apply and you will feel it heat up for a short while when you massage it in.

First Impressions

Honestly it took me a while to figure out the best way to apply it. But my first application results were nothing spectacular or miraculous. My hair still looked frizzy and damaged when I left it to air dry. I feel that you get the best results if you blow dry your hair and style it (in my case I have to use a hair straightener to get a more “silky” effect).

It’s meant to be used 2 – 3 times a week, I use it in replacement of conditioner and I only wash my hair once every 2 days so I think the frequency of use should be fine.

It does have a pretty strong floral sweet fragrance, I personally find it ok but be warned that it is strong when using and it lingers for a few days after rinsing. And yes my hair definitely does FEEL softer to touch and I have less tangles. But it doesn’t look silky like how it is shown in the promotional videos or on tiktok, maybe because of my own hair texture? You can see it in the after photos below, one was after the first use where I left my hair to air dry and the next one is what it looks like now (after using it for a week) when I blow dry and straighten my hair a bit.

After first use, left to air dry. See what I mean by still frizzy and damaged looking? But FEELS so soft.
After a week, blow dried + straightened. Looks a bit more manageable but still having lots of frizz and fly aways.

Pros

  • Hair feels much softer
  • 10 seconds waiting time is amazing
  • Bottle and nozzle makes it easy to apply
  • Fragrance is nice (my personal preference, can be a con if you don’t like strong fragrances)
  • No silicones, doesn’t cause me to break out unlike normal conditioners
  • Not too hard to rinse out

Cons

  • Expensive, so try to get it when there are promotions or sales
  • Depending on hair texture you may not get the silky results you see online
  • Hard to tell how much product you need for your hair since it’s very watery

Final Thoughts

Overall I still like this as an alternative to conditioner because I seem to always break out on my back / neck area when I use conditioner. So at this point, yes I think I would repurchase when I finish using it. Not sure how many uses I will get out of it but I think it will last me a few months. I think it’s worth trying to see if it works for your hair, just keep your expectations moderate. There’s also a smaller 30ml size if you don’t want to pay full price to try.
